Dressage started rather early 8.30 and we were in. She did such a accurate test for a 33.5 and tried her hardest to keep full concentration, even though the show jumping looked much more appealing to her over the hedge!
Half an hour after it was time to show jump, the course wasn't particularity causing any problems today and rode well. People were just having the odd 4 faults if that. Lady warmed up a little behind the leg so I had to really get after her in the show jump ring. She soon switched on over fence 1 to jump a lovely clear round. Her 7th one in a row!! I walked the XC after show jumping. The course was great, having every type of fence you could think. There were lots of drop fences and steps but the hills were the thing that stuck in my head with 3 long drags up hill I knew it would take a lot out of her.
I was so happy going through the flags completing her first BE100 double clear. We finished in 12th place and without the time penalties we would of been 6th, this was encouraging and I can't wait to get her back out again at Malpas.
