I then decided to enter her into the British Eventing Jump Training at Bishop Burton, although 2 hours away it was well worth the drive with 2 clear beautiful flowing rounds from Lady and a 26 style score got us 1st place!!! We have qualified for the final again so I am hoping she can better the 4th place she got last year.
If all that wasn't exciting enough I received an email from the Chef de Mission Peter Buist to say that I had been invited to the training and selection day for the GB 2* Eventing team. This has always been a huge ambition of mine to be selected and because it seems so hard, if not impossible to have a chance against professional riders at this level who work, breath and spend a lot more hours in the saddle then I do I really was overwhelmed to receive the email, especially on a horse I have produced myself.
To top the week off I then found out I had made it through as a finalist for the ESMA's this year through my Best Use of Twitter. So please do follow me on @becci_leigh for the latest updates, and if you get a spare moment reading this then please vote for me using this link http://www.equestriansocialmediaawards.com/finalists-vote-view
All you need is an email to register your vote, it would be really nice to get some recognition from my social media.
