Lady was entered for Askham Bryan Novice, which I was excited about doing with it being a new track. She was seriously impressive and what a day to pull it out of the bag. We nailed all three phases I felt and its not often us eventers can say that!!
The dressage felt amazing for a change!! We both just clicked more than we ever have before and floated round as one to score a 31.3 and leave us in the top 10 yippeeeeee!!!
It felt like we had agessss to walk the XC and get ready for Show Jumping, I felt more nervous by the minute! I have definitely got to say Lady's forte is the Show Jumping she has jumped 6 out of 8 events not touching a thing and pinged round again for another lovely clear.
Annie was lucky enough to have a lesson with Tim Stockdale a few weeks ago which was brilliant! We both got so much to work on from Tim and I am very excited to see the article out in Horse Magazine in December. Huge thank you to Horseware for sponsoring such a incredible prize I wont forget and supplying me with their latest Autumn/winter range of clothing- it really is stunning!
Now for the sad bit, summing up the season and thanking everyone who has helped with my success this year.
HUGE thanks to all my sponsors, trainers and friends it's been a season to remember. Must say a special mention to;
Claire Bennett - such a brilliant trainer who has so much belief in me and the girls and has helped us achieved our PB dressage score this season of 23! She's put so much time & effort into us I really hope we've done you proud
Sarah Healy- outstanding trainer, love my Tuesday lessons everyone is different and we always come away smiling having improved on something. It definitely shows with how many clear rounds we have managed this season!
Alison & Sam (Profile & Orchard Leigh)
Your support over the last few years has got us to this stage and I cannot thank you enough for your sponsorship & friendship it's lovely to have someone at the end of the phone.
Blue chip feed, classic show jumps, super X country, Caviera bedding, safe care equine, Dublin clothing- I am so grateful for your sponsorship & support, which has definitely showed in my results.
Last but not least. Mum & dad and my boyfriend Ash for putting up with me when it's good, bad and costly!!
I am excited to be continuing working with some of my sponsors, however very sad to see Classic Show Jumps go. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with them and will continue to rant about their brilliant products that I trust and use when training my horses.
