She will now go to the Osberton eventer trial champs for some fun while I decide whether or not to fund Aldon!!
Its been an exciting few weeks since Goldie arrived. She's been so sweet and picked things up really quickly. Here's a video of her getting the hang of lunging with Helen early this week. It won't be long now until we get to sit on her after she took so well to long reining on Thursday I have had a slight change of plan with Annie for the remainder of the season. I've decided not to run her this weekend at Aske RF and aim for Norton Disney RF at the end of October weather permitting of course ! I had thought about doing Aldon 3 day but I keep talking myself in and out of it being so busy with my house that we are currently doing up which is at the most important stage and needs me to be around for. I was really looking forward to being the Guinea Pig for Osberton 1 star too, but I just haven't had the time to work on the test enough with Annie and she was getting rather upset with some of the moves she wasn't familiar with! Not worth upsetting her at this stage of the season with an important event left !

After a serious blonde moment at Frickley Park yesterday is was lovely to reflect back on some fabulous pictures of Annie taken by David Shard. Goldie has settled in really well, and today she wore a bridle and bit for the first time and went for a little walk. Really grateful for the help of Helen. Its always quite a daunting experience buying your first unbacked 3yo so over the moon to have the help from someone who knows what they are doing! Will keep you all posted with her progress, I find it all really exciting!!! It was so lovely to see Candy Blue competing at Frickley we had lots of cuddles and it made up for my awful day seeing her do so well with her new mummy Alison. They had another top 10 finish in the 1m05 class and have been on fire this season!! So nice to be able to keep in touch.
